Auto-resolve lying
Auto-resolve predictions are almost always good in my experience, but I have run into a few hiccups in multiplayer with it. When playing with my friend, while he played as chaos and as empire, the auto resolve predictions were incorrect and extra units died outside of the predicted losses.

The pinnacle of this problem occurred today when he auto resolved a 'Pyrrhic victory' against Hag Graef as the Chaos Prince where it said he would lose 4 units and win, the auto resolve killed his army entirely and he lost.

Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem. (vanilla multiplayer with no mods, would have posted on the bug forum with the pinned post but I get redirected to a 404 error on the website)

it used to be a thing that the auto resolve prediction wasn't 100% accurate and they could be miles out and lose a few units but a whole army is a bit much, most likely a bug.
not sure its possible but it could be desync... did you try reloading the camp after your friend lost their army and try auto again?

We haven't tried it a second time.

I would be surprised if it was desync. If there is de-sync the game compensates for it, pausing me or my friend until the other person catches up and during which time the buttons to choose autoresolve/manual are unable to be pressed.

I can upload a before/after image of the specific autoresolve when we next load the save.

Legion of Chaos VS Malus Darkblade, very clearly says my friend will lose 5 units but win, then he loses his whole army but his general. We also reloaded the save 3 separate times from the end-turn autosave and the results were always the same losses.
