Hey Zyro,
We can't tell for now if we'll manage to bring the game to Linux, but we'll try :) Though I can't promise anything at the moment!

Thanks for the feedback!
If you need some testing, drop a note here.
Either way, good luck with your game!

Looks like a great game. Fingers crossed for a Linux version.

We're making builds for macOS and Linux all the time, and we hope that we will be able to optimize the game to release it for these platforms with reasonable system requirements. We'll see what we can do later in the development process, and we are convinced there is room for improvement.

We did release Unforeseen Incidents on Mac and Linux, and those two platforms are highly important to us.

Let's hope for the best! :)

Came for this topic  --as its remembered Unforseen Incidents was available natively on Linux. Waiting for it anxiously already :steamhappy:

I tried on my Linux (openSUSE) and it's impossible even to manage menu setting in FHD low settings. I have a 4K monitor, and most games I play at FHD, medium graphics and run excellent (Metro Redux, Metro 2033, CS:GO, Tomb Raider - all versions). However, despite a got with many many difficulties to put at FHD resolucion and fullscreen, still unplayable and menu still so slow ...

Changing resolution from 4K to FHD doesn't work. It let me select FHD, but nothing changes. Each time I tried, same behaviour. When I came back to setting, again 4K instead FHD. I then tried to change to 1024x768 and then to FHD, and that seemed to finally work. But unplayable, as I told. :(

Update: No way to change from 4K. Always I got back to "Graphics setting", i'ts selected 4K resolution, independently if I choosed FHD, 1024x720 and a lot of others resolutions. I give up.

Thanks for your feedback. It seems there's an issue with the resolution settings in the demo. What should work is setting the resolution in Windows (are you emulating it? You might need to change your resolutions settings elsewhere in Linux then, I don't know about that) and then starting the game.

I think that maybe it's using Proton (I don't know) thru Steam. But to change resolution previously is not the way. Metro or TombRaider are using Proton and they work fine changing resolution from each game settings.

Yes, but it might be a problem in our resolution settings in this case. We will definitely check that out and fix for the next version of the demo. It might be worth a try for you for this version though.
