Can you please add Steam Achievements to the game?

Hey there everyone, I've invested nearly 6 hours into completing this game, and am on the quest to confront the mayor however, after scouring the game I can't find the means to acquire the necessary beards to gain access to several places. I finally caved and did some research online to find that the beards were previously obtainable through battles, which are no longer in the game. Hi. My computer is really old, my video card is a Radeon HD6870 with 1 Gb of RAM. Would I be able to run the game at all, in a playable condition? Upgrading is not an option. Thanks in advance.
