Anyone else get that Aaravi secret ending because there was a lot of lore to unpack!
Did anyone else get the therapy secret ending for Aaravi because I want to understand the lore dump better since it had a whole lot of lore but I can't find anything about it! I'm pretty sure it had a whole lot to do with Hope's ending from the original game and I'd love to hear other people's thoughts.

Altough I havent done many if any of the secret endings on monster prom, I did do the Aaravi one here, don't know if theres another one but the secret ending here for her i just got by doing her quest on the woods. Didn't reveal much of her backstory except that she is tsundere af and is super cute.

There's two secret endings for most characters, just like the first game. Both of these are different Aaravi endings. And I've seen both. (In fact I believe there's two options for the woods quest, one weighted towards Aaravi and one that's more Hex.)

However err... other Hex, how much else have you seen? There's more stuff that ties to the lore you get from the owl IMO, so I'd like to know what other stuff you've run into before really cutting loose.

I'm referring to the one with the owl since that's the one with the lore dump. Idk if it's relevant lore or if it's just there for the "skipping dialogue" joke but it seemed to tie in with Hope's storyline in the first game. How did you feel about it?

I'm just saying there's other one off events and endings that tie in more to the owl's dialogue, IMO. I'm kinda in full conspiracy nut mode about it. :snaggletooth: But while there's a direct tie to Hope's ending, I think the focus of it is on a different part of the first game

The Prankmasterz

Gimmie a sec. Giborra (the owl) tells you that the True Power is split across the multiverse. There's an event with Joy (Mansion, I think) that goes into how come the Prankmasterz ending didn't doom this timeline. Basically Joy jumped timelines alongside Liam repeatedly trying to shut the Prankmasterz down and failing.

Why is that? Why is Scott and Polly dooming the world a multiversal recurrant? That seems almost like the definition of an edge case scenario, not something that was almost certain to happen and that took mammoth effort from Joy to avert.

But the True Power is something unlimited, creates the multiverse, everyone wants it. What if that includes cosmic horror Z'gord? They could probably set things in motion to lead to that chain of events - they have a cult and everything. Even after the Prankmasterz ending, Z'gord has two willing heralds to work their will - Polly and Scott. They could then scour the remains of the world for the True Power

And if Joy can jump dimensions, why can't the OG Prankmasterz? We've seen that they very much can use magic. They could search every parallel reality, provided Z'gord let them have some fun along the way.

*taps* Pure theory. But not impossible. Further, Scott and Polly have been up to something in the Merkingdom. They've pulled a series of pranks on the Merking, and Giborra posits a fraction of the True Power might be linked to that dimension. And they're sure going somewhere on that road trip... I dunno, maybe this is a reach, but I swear if this becomes a big plotline...

Oh, SPOILERS FOR THIS GAME

Apparently one of the endings is simply entitled The Darkest Timeline. Sooo.... that may well play into some of this.
