Patch v1.21 – Update Notes
New Additions:
Added an inn in Xiaopei (小沛) for resting.
Added an on-screen prompt (press F5) to restart the game and reload saves.
Added hints for solving the Eight-Door Golden Lock Formation (八门解阵).
Added clues for the Mahjong side quest (麻将支线).

Bug Fixes:
Fixed incorrect stats for the "Lightning Flash Hat" (雷瞬帽).
Adjusted terrain collision issues in certain areas.
Fixed a bug where stepping on Zhang Fei’s face (踩张飞脸) in the Ancient City (古城) triggered incorrectly.

Troubleshooting:
Game crashes on launch?
Install the patch from the "help" file in the game directory.

Game loads slowly?
Steam Settings → Downloads → disable "Enable Automatic Shader Pre-caching".

Save File Transfer Guide:
To overwrite a save slot, you must already have an existing save in that slot.
Example: If you download "Save Slot 9", but your game has no existing Slot 9 save, the transfer will fail.
Solution: Manually save in Slot 9 first to generate a file, then overwrite it.

New Features:

Added function keys: Use C on keyboard / X on controller to:

Quickly activate "Protective Smoke" (护身烟) on the world map.

Unequip all gear with one button in the equipment menu.

Added game speed options in the settings.

Added weapon type descriptions in the barracks forging section.

Added exit flags in the Eight-Door Golden Lock Formation (八门金锁阵) for better navigation.

Added an official game community link at the top of the game window.

Reduced random encounter rate and increased escape success rate. Failed escapes now progressively increase future escape chances.

Adjusted volume control steps from 20 per click to 10 for finer tuning.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed a bug where players could re-enter the dried well after defeating Cai Mao (蔡瑁).

Fixed an issue causing HP to display as "NAN".

Fixed a bug allowing the use of camping items (野营帐) inside the barracks.

Adjusted elephant's attributes to correct values.

Fixed chest display issues in Changban Slope (长坂坡).

Fixed trigger problems with Chun’s six generals (淳六将) in Changban Slope.

Fixed an issue where Diaochan’s (貂蝉) menu could trigger "Divide and Conquer" (离间) unintentionally.

Fixed a progression bug where Xiangyang Secret Passage (襄阳密道) incorrectly triggered events leading to Chibi (赤壁).

Fixed an issue where the Taoist child (道童) event in Ganxi Village (干溪村) didn’t close properly.

Corrected some typos in the game text.
