I only play with friends and family, too. But we don´t like to play such games singleplayer.

I've mostly played elite dangerous - star dew valley - star bound - unturned with friends

Its just really difficult to find random people who aren't about themselves and don't just base everything on narcissism and being the center of attention etc etc.


They might add in the same kind of online play that star dew valley has.

There is supposedly connect play on this game but its not really that great
There are games out there that can maybe give you guys what you are looking for If state of decay 2 wasn't made with such limited content and all you guys would enjoy the whole building a base and all

Unturned you can do that star bound is pretty fun to play travel around finding a planet you wanna settle on build a house or a base fort etc remodel and rebuild the star ship anyway you want. One of the few games I have played that lets you go wild with anything you can imagine.

Since this game is a clone copy of star dew valley in a sense more likely they'll either have another room in the top floor for the other player and wondering if they'll limit what they can interact with. I would like to assume they'll let friends take over the bar tending and cleaning and crafting and material gathering ? who knows

Yeah, online co-op would be amazing, split screen on PC in the year 2022 doesn't work as well as couch co-op used to.

Hope it comes soon, getting tired of fighting with the steam crap to get multiplayer to work, only to have the game not even recognize the controller most of the time, and any time we open a menu, it opens it for both people, stopping the other from doing things T_T
