Is this game confirmed dead?
Been almost a year since this game received an update. I'm assuming it's no longer being supported by the developers. The game was fun but to leave the ending how they did and then never release DLC is unfortunate to say the least.

Also i get a 404 error just now if i try to open the official website "https://kingsbounty2.com/en/"? That didn't happen a few days ago. Seems like the game is even "deader" now.

I also finished the game a few days ago and agree. I liked it, it looked like they put a lot of work in world and armor details.

Its a completed single player game. Is god of war dead then?

The game of Chess has had no patches or DLC for 500 years? Is Chess dead?

I don't think he's asking if the player base is dead. He's asking if its dead by the developers. The company got bought out and due to the failure of the game the new company dropped it completely. The game is dead and will no longer receive updates or DLC

Did we see the same ending? The game closed out with a massive cliffhanger leaving the door wide open for DLC.

There has been no word from the developers for close to a year - not even a "Thank you for playing - we've concluded development on this title" and no mention of a sequel.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Until I actually finished the game myself I would have agreed with you. However if you bothered to finish the game you'd realize they intentionally left the story unfinished in preparation for a future DLC. Said DLC never came and at this point probably never will...

Actually the site is under reconstruction, remove the /en part and you will see.

Going by the number of reviews the game has the game didn't make jack... and it's easy to see why when it changed the gameplay so much from what we enjoyed in the OG game.

Yeah, bought this game thinking it was like the old ones. Played it once and never touched it since.

The game only has 3k steam reviews... that implies sales of less than 50k on steam... I take it it also was sold on the consoles in fact its more consolized than the original games for sure but the audience for this game was more on the PC side from what I understand.

I played the original for a wee bit thought it was pretty solid but didn't play it that much or got far.

Ah no guess I was wrong steamspy estimates at least 200k in sales. One would think there be more negative reviews with old school fans being disappointed with this follow up to the tried and true formula that brought success to the original games.
