Version 1.14 and coupling/uncoupling

Today's devblog mentions some of the core changes coming in 'schedules 1.5', but it doesn't mention anything about coupling and uncoupling trains within runs. As you are currently working on the timetabling system, can we expect this to be part of the next update, or possibly part of the eventual signalling update? I recall you have mentioned problems especially related to how the UI would display splitting trains. Now would seem like a possible time to implement them as I assume the UI is getting updated as well.

Train coupling is completely out of scope for 1.14.

Thanks for the very quick reply! Is coupling still on the list of "maybe sometime in the future" or banished to post-alpha/never?
