This only happens, when you station is much longer than the trains.
When two trains fit into the station.
Wrong, i have very short stations as well... this feature like several others are just borked and need patched... all my trains end up each others a$$ no matter what you set the intervals to
I'm not sure it can solve the problem here or I may have missed your point (my english is not that good).
It seems that both statements are right, at least I experience the same bunching issue on one of my lines, and it would be a damn waste of money to rebuild those stations because the trains using it are too short.
Will this behaviour be corrected soon?
I have to say the game is already very enjoyable, i just can't stop playing it, and it is the only annoying thing I met so far.
(or maybe the Click&Drag bug when the cursor hover a UI window but this is detail :))
Where can I find the button ? I just can t find it !
Make sure you have a minimum interval set as well..otherwise, the trains will leave, with no other instructions.
Setting up a route is easy...run one train for the route, see how long it takes. Determine the time distance you want between trains to get the total trains needed.
Divide the total time by the number of trains to get the interval.
Buy a train, start it, making note of the time. Buy the next train at the correct interval.
Once you have purchased all your trains for the line, got into each stop, and set the minimum interval for just a little less than the actual interval, to keep spacing.
Example...four stops, 24 minutes to run the entire route, and you want a train every three minutes. You will need eight trains over the 24 minutes, so launch a train at 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24 minutes. Go into each stop, and set the minimum interval at 2:45. Reduce the in-stop time down to 5 seconds..that's all you need.
There you go. Perfectly running route.
On max sim speed the 2nd train in station starts countdown before the 1st leave the station.
(I thought it was already confirmed as a bug)
