Same thing happened to 2020 and I suspect 2022 will go the same route. EA seems to have a completely different business model compared to prior years (2019) and prior, which saw frequent and deep sales many years after release. They are doing this with their other sports brands like FIFA and Madden. After a franchise gets a new version, they stop discounts on the previous ones and remove them from sale after a few years.

You can get F1 2022 cheaper than this game off-Steam. But then you would have to deal with the crapness that is F1 Life and EA. F1 2021 will probably be the last F1 game that will be worth buying.

Ive been thinking of going back to F1 2021 just to get rid of the EA Life stuff. F1 2021 also has invasive stuff like the stupid unlocks you get which I hate but its not half as bad as F1 2022. Everytime I start I have to wade through screens of them. Its so annoying. Its bound to be even worse in F1 2023.

Games are never gone. Just they are not available for sale on Steam. But Steam is not the world you know. I can get still get EA's F1 Challenge 99-04 if I want to on Ebay.

That is how I got those. I bought 21 for like 15 bucks and I just got 22 for 9.50. I did not really need them but figured what the heck, small amount

Won't happen. EA made everything worse when it comes to F1. There are no more cheap keys or humble bundle of F1 games.
