If you're talking about your accounts from years and years ago, then yes those are all gone. When they restored the game, they had the codebase, but apparently not any of the player files. The game passed through a few different hands, and they probably didn't have access to any of that.

I heard there was some shut down recently, but I have no information on that.

dang that sucks lol. I had so much going on the original account. oh well, starting from scratch is cool too.

i think they still got the old data? just decided to have everyone start anew. not sure tho.

Yeah, I used to have several interceptors, that I farmed for and built myself. Heavy sigh. But it's all good. If you remember how the game works, you can breeze through all the early game stuff super fast.

Well I did lost a lot too...I'm willing to play this game again because to be honest this was a gem and can still be one great mmo out there. I just hope it's not gonna die again and if they make a ramake this time they should really keep it going. I'm also sad that this game doesn't get the reputation it deserve. Seriously, what others games can be compared to this? I'm a PoE lover, Minecraft lover, etc...but this game will always stay in my best memories. Imagine a polished Fallen Earth with thousands of players...it would be huge for everyone.

yeah i loved this game back in the day and a remake or fixing the server issues would be a great thing to hear about someday :)

Original accounts are still intact. Only databases were purged, not accounts. However, the db purge means everyone started/will start from scratch (myself included).
I actually have my original FE account linked into Steam, and have been using it while playing (for the last 1.5mo or so).

I'm considering coming back for the 4th time. Last time played 2.5 years ago.
Has anything changed for the worse in regards of server performance or player population in that time?
