Faction Lightbearers
I understand from what I have read this faction is allied with Enforcers and Vistas although Vistas and Enforcers are enemies. I am playing a rifle toon and I may get a shotgun later as I am still low level.

My question is, if someone could help me, if I pick Lightbearers whether I can have access to the rifles the Enforcers and Vistas sell and the Rifle skills too. How difficult is it to become allied enough to both Enforcers and Vistas while being a Lightbearer? Is this still the way it works or have things changed because I am not really interested in the Lightbearer faction except for the chance to ally with both Enforcers and Vistas to get the maximum I can for Rifles.

You main faction is not allied with shoulder or adjacent factions. You could join the Enforcers for the Rifles, but there are no faction skills, however. You could also gain points with the Vistas for their rifles and all you would do is anger the Techs. You can only join, and be allied, with one faction. Getting points for any other faction will just earn you negative rep with that opposing faction. I hope this helps.

I have max faction in both Enforcer and Vista on my old Lightbeaer avatar. I can shop in those towns. Just the PVP towns you cant shop in. They removed the old shoulder factions. I lkike the old way better.

I see so joining Lightbearers isn't giving me any faction with Vista and Enforcer when I do the missions. Which makes it pointless then.

Doesn't sound good. Guess I will go Enforcer then. Hate the Vista gear ...I know shallow reason. So no more positive reputation only negative faction. You also cannot have faction with two now from what I understand.

I have faction with 3 on all my avatars. My PVP one is LB main, then maxed in Chota and maxed in Vista. Its just harder now to get faction in more than one.

Alright thanks for clarifying. I don't PvP I play this game for the crafting actually and the PvE for now but can never tell if I might engage in some town defense in the future.

As long as you don't flag for PVP, this shouldn't be an issue.

Join the faction you like for it's looks, questline, etc. Due to how factions currently work you can have positive in 3 factions (so LB/Enfo/Vista, but you'd be enemies to Traveler/CHOTA/Tech).

As stated above faction no longer effects skills, weapons, or mutations. Every faction can use these things freely, there are specific faction weapons of course but they do not compare to end-game weapons and thus shouldn't really be an issue if you never use them.

Ahh so crafted stuff is better okay then I will go for looks then. Thanks so much.

Since I like the Enforcer and Tech armour appearance it makes sense for me to go Enforcer to get positive with Tech too.

Nice, you can wear any faction armor you get the reputation for as well.

So you actually can decide on a third faction, with those two choices tho CHOTA and Vista will be unavailable. But you'll still have traveler/lightbearer to consider.
