Crafting guide ?

I am kinda new i been playing for few days now, but only making some basic weapon armor ammo and shirt here and there, i am focusing on double pistol build, and i was wondering how to lvl up crafting lvl, because there are color on some numbers on crafting item like grey , green and red, i know red means i dont have enough lvl, but i am confused about the green number, for example my ballistic level is 34 but the green number was lvl 9 and level 18 gun and level 15 on bow

And it is kinda hard to find crafting item, i ended up buyying item that i can't find on the world, i am a level 9 character i always thought that i get more item per harvest when i got higher level or is it just a myth?

And please if someone have a map for crafting item i kinda need help

Green means the item will soon not give xp for skills. Grey means no skill xp.

Most items give 30 lvls of xp (level 1 ballistic craft will raise you to 31 ballistic) Some items do not follow this rule to make some leveling thresholds more annoying (Belts).

Scrap fasteners have to be bought or given as a rare boss drop. Also there's a ingame help channel where many vets can help you

Scrap fasteners(and other rare parts/materials)can be bought via auction house(hammer symbol on minimap)there are boxes of 50 fasteners usually for reasonable price

Crafting basics... gather as much as you can. Sort them into the bank nicely and neat. Store as much as you can. Max 100 in a stack, as you'll need them all over S1, ie. Sector 1. As most towns have crafting/gathering quests. So when you get there you'll have the mats to do the work.

It's very rewarding. You'll soon start to see what you need, so if you see a great spot, you can farm a stack.

And remember to also craft amour for yourself, as well as science to put a scope on your pistols. And science you can make gunpowder too, to make pistol ammo.
