Offline options?
Is this wishful thinking - is there a way to play this game offline as a singleplayer game?

That's bulls**t. I've played it for years and yes, it wasn't all that very polished, but it sure wasn't "nearly unplayable". Unless you're one of those from the "how to horse", or "how do I put the horse back in my inventory ?" crowd. Then yeah, it was unplayable, because you actually would have had to use your brain.

The game shutdown because it used a propertity engine that was difficult to work with. And the game's new owners neglected it for so long it'd require an complete engine replacement to get any signifcant updates to graphics or performance.

That said for an MMO that released back during BC World of Warcraft and got zero and I mean Zero updates. It ran surprisingly well.

How about we say it's dead once Little Orbit announce they've canned the project? Or go bankrupt as a company? Or something besides endless posts about a video game we loved not being alive.
