Most essential skills/abilities for solo?

Hi. I really enjoyed this game a few years back but never got to finish it. I will attempt to go through every bit of content solo, before they devs decide to shut it down. What skills and/or abilities will I have to give to my character to be completely self-sustained, both crafting and combat wise? All advice welcome.

Perception seems to be essential whether in combat (as ranged) or as a crafter since it stacks to both tradeskills and ranged attack skills. Whatever it is, (if you ask me) get some Perception on ya.

Thxs for the tips.i'ma noobie,just start a month ago(honestly)i've hit perceptions for tradeskills crafting,but i've used some ap on thermal control just to get naplam ":D rofl.i'm not bother bout solo,i always could.if i cant,i'll always have team i want ":D .daamn!! This game is so cool!! I'm addicted ":)
