Game wont update. - Any solution.

I m stuck on old version of APB and i m unable to download new patch.
Launcher gets stuck on scaning. and after some time it give error and ask to send information to gamersfisrt.
mailed gamersfirst regarding this problem but they dont have any solution.

If you installed the game from steam, go verify cache integrity, it should download new updates. After that just repair the client via the APB Launcher.

Got the same problem, have redownloaded it 3 times and from the Gamersfirst homepage, nothing works. is just broken, and gamersfirst dont care, have sent email and writed on Gamersfirst Forum. non know how to fix it

I've download APB reloaded 4 time on gamefirst and on steam but it still stays on the updating screen. Gamefirst FIX YOUR GAME

I dont know what i did. I just Verified cache files then steam downloaded 31mb. I thought that now game will run but it didnt. I close steam and shut down my pc and after some hours when i started steam again it started downloading 615MB. Try to Verify game cache files maybe it would work.

when i verify integrity of game cache it downloads or something and then says 1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired. afterwards i restarted my computer but nothing happened. what should i do?

Use the "Repair" option on the APB patcher. Click the button at the bottom left to extend options so that you can see the option to "Repair." Verifying cache on Steam will revert your patches, unless they've fixed it.

I got to know what I really did. Just run steam - run APB - If your getting even speed in bytes keep it for downloading for 15 - 25 mins - then close the launcher - Verify game cache files from steam - Here you go now steam will check the files which are missing then it will start downloading automatically - then you can play games as before - Enjoy :).........................( After running APBLauncher by steam and if you cant see any speed then wait for 10 mins or more. It will catch up lil bit speed in bytes. )

Well I got solution. I had Bitdefender Antivirus 2013 and it was blocking my APB from updating. My Antivirus was expired so I uninstalled it - reboot my pc - and run the game launcher and it started downloading. Try to remove all the restrictions given to APB by your antivirus or if it will not work - uninstall it - run APB - and it will start downloading. Enjoy :)

how do u know what antivirus program is blocking APB

My antivirus was for 30 days and it was expired already but still it was blocking some network activities. Before installing it APB was fine with updating. Try to check in antivirus if it is blocking APB somehow and after removing restrictions its still not working then uninstall it and try to update.

thanks for all your help im not sure if i did anything or APB just got another update or something but it started to work. THX XD
