How... Just how?

How do i play against someone my own level? Im only level 1 and i keep getting matched up with someone whose level is waay higher and people that has crazy guns. It's really not fair. How the hell do you play this game?

You get rekt and slowly build your rating, threat, and equipment. This is no different to any shooter game, you start as a scrub and build yourself up.

This is the only shooter i know that does that. In all other shooters i reck most people even the ones high lvl. But in this high lvls which is pretty much everyone can kill me in 1 second while it takes 5 for me to kill them. I have no chances at all and i don't wanna play this for 30 hours just to get a gun so that i can play a game i don't even wanna play at that point.

knowing how to play the game is way more important than modded weapons. most setups aren't direct upgrades either

definitely recommend finding a clan or a group a friends with skype or ts to play with. It'll make learning the game so much easier

Basically the gun you start with aka the Star is one of the best guns in game once you learn it, it won't matter what guns they have, you will wreck them.

How do you learn it? It's a gun... There isn't much to learn, just aim for the head.

You need to unlearn such assumptions. This game behaves differently to most shooters. For example, accuracy is random within the bloom in APB; whereas shots always land in the same place across an entire clip in CS:GO.

Well if it's just random who kills who and there is no skill in the game, then i don't think it's a game for me.

Well if it's just random who kills who and there is no skill in the game, then i don't think it's a game for me.

You've got it completely wrong. The reason new players are at such a disadvantage is because it's all about skill, and knowing how weapons handle. You need to use your advantages and exploit you opponents disadvantages, and adapt to each situation.

It's not like COD where you can just hold down forwards and shoot and get a good score. Also headshots don't mean a thing in APB, damage is damage, doesn't matter where you hit them.

It is a hard game to get into, and at first glance it seems as though the game is either p2w, or grind to win. But once you learn the game and how it works you realised it's neither of these things.

I just played a bit and i had no chance at all, i just get angry. I mean if im driving to the objective and a guy comes up shoots my brand new car a little and it explodes i give up. That should not be possible. After he shot it a little i jumped out shot him a whole bunch, he then saw me after i shot him and killed me in 2 shots with an automatic rifle. I think im gonna uninstall, too unrealistic for me xD

It's most likely your best bet. The game is very unforgiving, based around exploits and downright unfair to new players. If you want to try really hard, make sure you go into the advanced district browser and join ONLY bronze districts. It keeps the retarded gold farmers from harassing players like you, as they can't join it. Levels the playing field a bit.
