In it's time the game had potential. It was something like GTA, with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of customisation options, since players could add their own touches to the design. Nowaydays restarting the servers, trying to make it lively again, with over decade old mechanisms, graphics, that won't do. Players now are used to way better stuff then this.

So yeah, its dead. Let it rest

Yeah, it really needs a significant overhaul to keep up with modern games. It made sense back in the day, but its a bit long in the tooth. Not to mention the updates that it was getting really were meant to drop over a decade ago.
