APB Reloaded

APB Reloaded

APB: Reloaded will not shut down completely after playing.
Like the title says, the game will not shut down completely after the latest Patch.

The game just stays open after you exit the game and you cannot re-launch it
(manually closing the game with CTRL-ALT-DEL does not work).

Exiting Steam will eventually close the game, but you will not be able to re-launch it.
Only way to start the game up (after you have closed it down) is to restart your PC.

This only happens when launching APB: Reloaded through Steam as far as i can tell,
but Steam is how 99% of the players are playing the game (so it is a very big deal).

same here i had to close it through steam and now it wont even open anymore
Restarting your PC should make the game launch again.

That's not how it's supposed to be, but it works.

Even after today's Patch, this issue is still not fixed.

It is very annoying to have to restart your entire computer after every play.

This just isn't true at all... It's a bug to do with something keeping your games from closing all the way. restart your pc to fix this issue and fully close the program that failed to close properly.
If you read the thread again you will notice that people have already tried that
(and no, restarting your PC does NOT solve this issue).

Furthermore, it is only APB that does this (ever since the last two Patches).
So no, there is nothing wrong with people's PC's to cause this issue.

It also doesn't help that Little Orbit never reads their own forums,
makes you wonder why they even have a forum.

they do read their forums, on their website.

Rereading the thread you state that restarting your PC is a helpful solution

This has been an issue for a long time. not just the last 2 patches.
If they want to keep having a forum for the game here on the Steam-forums,
then it's reasonable for people to expect the Devs to read/respond on here.

Steam is also where 99% of the players get the game from when they install it nowadays.

While restarting the PC helps, you still have to restart every single time you want to play.
This is not a good solution at all and only a tedious workaround at best.

For me, this is a brand new issue that i have never seen (or had) before.
