Account got banned.

After being a long term player in APB: reloaded my account got banned the next day after some one threatened to report me cause he asumed i was cheating. As normal i ignored the threat cause I should have nothing to fear, i mean im not a hacker and i play legit and I thought that Gamers first would look in to their bans. Of course the next day i try to log in and it says that my account is blocked. I really dont feel mad at the time because i figure that Gamers first will unban my account since i didnt do anything wrong. So i proceed to send a email to Gamers first and within 1 day i get a reply:

"Hello,

What is the email address listed for the account?
What is your date of birth?
What are your character names / server name?
What is the registration date of your account?
Please provide us with an transaction ID information for any purchases you may have made.
What is the new email address you would like on the account?
What is your IP address

Kindest Regards,
Tiggs"

I obviously replied, answering all of the questions. And didnt here from them ever since.
It has been a month since my APB account got banned. I really dont know what else to do.
I decided to post it here, not in the hope of getting my account back, but just to give the information to anyone who reads this that Gamers first, has one of the worst player supports i ever had. And this is really a shame cause APB, is a good game, that is destroyed by nonsense like this and actual hackers.

If you are still playing apb, then dont be good cause you will get banned. You can hack cause in my experience only 1 hacker has been banned. And he was way over the top. Either way dont expect any support, even if youre a paying player. (such as i was)

TL:DR

Gamers first (the studio behind apb) has horrible player support and horrible anti hacker engines. The company can burn in hell as far as i care.
Bottom line is, there are better and worse games then APB:R but the customer support for G1 has been the worst by far.

Update: After posting this Tiggs asked me to resend the info and I did and I actually get unbanned.

Update 2.0: after years of this post people still add me and ask how i got unbanned.

well the first thing is I didnt hack and the second thing is I got lucky enough that Tiggs looked into the matter personally. So thank you Tiggs. A lot of people give crap to the game myself included but its a really addicting competetive game.

Either way the cheat engine has been changed and as far as i know there arent that many false bans anymore. So if you get banned now you are most likely a hacker

Try to find clear evidence for that and prove that you dont use any hacks by yourself. But that is almost imposible so make a new account (and if you use hacks by yourself: better uninstall them)

thats a load of garbage, I know tons of players who are cheating who Clearly state they are and post videos of themselves cheating nonstop and All G1 does is cover it up like it's not happening.
Over half the community is using triggerbots and are LIVESTREAMING IT and posting on the forums, LOOK AT MY NEW TRIGGERBOT OVERLAY. And all g1 does is nothing, none of them got banned since the start.

There seem to be a lot of posts like these here. When a cheater (or otherwise toxic player) gets in trouble on a game they will almost never admit to making an error. The first course of action is to typically blame the company in charge. Plead for the account back due to "someone elses error", etc.

At the end of the day you cannot discern whom was banned fairly or unfairly. However those of whom have been banned falsely do, in my experience from what I've observed, get the account back. Whilst the ones whom are at fault do not.

Ontop of this we have to remember that behavior in-game can get someone in trouble too. Not just cheating. If you act in the most vulgar of ways. Spewing racism amongst other hate speech or something of that caliber.. then yes, they may remove you.

Do not blame Gamersfirst for trying to keep a fair fun enviornment. If you got in trouble own up to it if you were caught. End of story. If you were honestly banned in error - contact them. Do not attempt stirring up some type of posse. That isn't going to resolve anything.



Sidenote: I use the TS3 overlay. I use Ventrillo. I used Overwolf. I have Raptr. I have Razer drivers. I have Logitech drivers. The list goes on. None of this has ever triggered any sort of ban for me. Whitelisted software should not cause any problems.

If you are unsure about a piece of software then contact Evenbalance. They can inform you whether or not a particular piece of software is whitelisted with Punkbuster.

I completely agree. Even though i try to be respectful towards my opponents and not do anything thats stupid sometimes i do snap and do say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things but nothing worse thats already being said in the chat. As for griefing and i also sometime get into situations like that when other people grief me. As for actually cheating or hacking the game i have never done that. I have never used a 3rd party program on APB. And the fact that they cant even tell me what program i used to get myself banned but they can tell me to reformat my hardrive shows how bs G1 is.

I can completely understand why that would be frustrating. Hopefully you've gotten it resolved to at least a reasonable degree.
