Checked steamcharts for this game and it seems the game has gone from 200 average players to almost 700? Has there been a new update orsomething? Is ita good time to come back to the game now?

it says 700 but when i enter the game and see the lobies it's less than 100 players, idk why but yeah my observation

Those sites are only able to show you how many people who launch the game everyday,
they are not able to show how many people are actually playing inside the Districts.

These sites are also only able to show players who are launching the game through Steam.

This means the actual number is higher since quite a few people launch the game withouth Steam.


That site of yours only shows player stats for the last week or so,
it would be interesting to see stats for the past 4 months.

will.io shows around 350 players on both servers (accurate because i confirmed this ingame too) whereas steam is showing 700 people, so steam is reporting almost 400 people more than actually playing, are these steam players just iding for hours? more people just booting the game up than acutally playing?

If you look at steamcharts the increase in players isn't gradual either, it spikes from 200ish to 700 overnight. I want nothing more than for APB to do well and I assumed there had been a big update or something but this seems a bit strange.

the match making update is on public servers and is helping to bring some players back. it also has made the match making just a tiny bit better because you can load up the teams with people and it'll balance out a bit better.
