you cant combain pc and xbox to play together its a diiferent type of game

It has been done before, and will be done again, perharps not here though. But if history has thought us anything, such endeavours crash and burn in no avail due to console players getting so badly pubstomped.

It's almost funny, if not hilarious.

Currently they're two completely different versions of the game. The Xbox One version has the engine upgrade, the PC version will not be getting this until a month or two (so they say) after the console release. The console version is also being handled by Deep Silver, who has nothing to do with the PC version. I doubt it will ever be cross-platform, and that's probably for the best, the PC vets would absolutely destroy the console players, plus you now introduce the aimbotter problem from the PC to the console players, making their already bad time worse. Honestly, you're buddy should just get the PC version if he really wants to play with you that bad.
