Account issue and unable to login on G1
'Years' ago 'I' linked my G1/APB: Reloaded account to my Steam account, yet, I am unable to login due to 'old password'. When going to G1 and selecting 'forgot password' option to see if reseting my password would be a way to regain access to my account I have yet to recieve any sort of confirmation/e-mail from G1. Not really 'wanting' to make a 'new' G1 account just to contact support, hence, this 'thread'/post. Basically, I want to log-in to APB: Reloaded, I am unable to until I regain access to my account which I am 'locked out of', until I can get the password situation sorted out. I apologize for my lacklustre attempts at communication.

*Contacted 'Little Orbit', will update if I am 'updated'

*Attempted to 'reset' password via G1 website again, no e-mail recieved, will update if that is no longer 'true'.

i tried changing my steam password but it didnt help.. i spent money too and that would be horrible

ok dude i figured it out, i was just using the wrong email. Try it with a few different email accounts you have

Hello there!

What Steez said might as well be the issue. It is probably a different email address that you have your account on. I would not yet be worried about it being lost. It can be something as simple as that. You will unfortunately have to contact the Customer Support for it.

This is necessary for the sake of getting some information about your account from you that will help them find it and verify your ownership over it. There is no way around it but sending in the ticket, I'm afraid.

same issue, too much money invested to just drop it as well.. why the password would have expired when NO notice was sent, used same email for steam for years now, no reason to try another email.

Hello again,

Another possible issue regarding you not receiving password recovery e-mails might be the issue we had with many accounts using certain mail domains like @hotmail. If your account is registered on such domain and you have this issue, then it might be the domain issue and in that case, you will have to replace your email as well. If you are sure you are entering the right e-mail address, then that might be the source of the problem.

Because your G1 account's password was forcefully changed earlier this year along with ohers in order to prevent a certain security issue that emerged. Therefore, there is no way for you to access your account with your old password, because the password was replaced. If you are not getting password reset emails, then you are either using the wrong email address, or your mail is being misplaced.

What is the update on support's response to your ticket?

Perhaps. I am not fully familiar with the time support takes to respond, but they will certainy ook into it. We apologize for the inconvenience. I do believe that they have less to handle now so you probaby will not be waiting that long, but again, I do not know the exact ticket fow details.

Another thing, please do not send new tickets on the same issue as it might prolong your waiting time. Unfortunately, waiting is a resut of a lot of people with the same issue but nevertheless, we do understand it is annoying to wait and we appreciate the patience. Your issue is not being overlooked.

Hi there, I have a similar problem, but it is a bit weird.

I do not remember my password. So I go to gamersfirst to rest my current password, so I can login. (and reset it to a new one as is requested when trying to login to the game)

So I receive a mail that says that I have to reset my password in order to login, but, I do not remember my old password, so I cannot login to reset it, it is like a catch 22

Edit, just for the record, this is what my recovery password mail contains:

"Hello,

Our systems recently blocked a login to your GamersFirst account. This is due to a requirement that your account's password must be changed.

To change your password, please login to the GamersFirst website which will prompt you to change your password.

Regards,

The GamersFirst Team"
