What Steez said might as well be the issue. It is probably a different email address that you have your account on. I would not yet be worried about it being lost. It can be something as simple as that. You will unfortunately have to contact the Customer Support for it.
This is necessary for the sake of getting some information about your account from you that will help them find it and verify your ownership over it. There is no way around it but sending in the ticket, I'm afraid.
Ritual
Another possible issue regarding you not receiving password recovery e-mails might be the issue we had with many accounts using certain mail domains like @hotmail. If your account is registered on such domain and you have this issue, then it might be the domain issue and in that case, you will have to replace your email as well. If you are sure you are entering the right e-mail address, then that might be the source of the problem.
What is the update on support's response to your ticket?
Another thing, please do not send new tickets on the same issue as it might prolong your waiting time. Unfortunately, waiting is a resut of a lot of people with the same issue but nevertheless, we do understand it is annoying to wait and we appreciate the patience. Your issue is not being overlooked.
I do not remember my password. So I go to gamersfirst to rest my current password, so I can login. (and reset it to a new one as is requested when trying to login to the game)
So I receive a mail that says that I have to reset my password in order to login, but, I do not remember my old password, so I cannot login to reset it, it is like a catch 22
Edit, just for the record, this is what my recovery password mail contains:
"Hello,
Our systems recently blocked a login to your GamersFirst account. This is due to a requirement that your account's password must be changed.
To change your password, please login to the GamersFirst website which will prompt you to change your password.
Regards,
The GamersFirst Team"
