Need weapon advice from the vets

I have been running the VAS-R2 Sword NFCP3 and on occasion the Joker CR5 for my ass riffles. Both with hs3 and ir3. But i find my self getting loosing ate ranged fire fights against the Ntec crim slayer and the urisis. am i Just getting out played or do those weapons have a faster ttk at that range.It also seems i always need to shoot them once more than they need me at range i dunno. Lemme know what i am doing wrong. and yea yea git gud i know.

Heya!

So first off i need to explain a little bit about the weapons you're using.

The VAS-R2 Sword NFCP3 & Joker CR5 are functionally identical to the N-TEC 5 'Crim-Slayer' Stock, the only difference is the way the weapon looks & sounds.

Your mod set up is pretty good as it is for now.
Improved rifling 3 & hunting sights 3 are used a LOT with this weapon (and if you're rank 195 i'd suggest using mobility sling along with that set up)

Tap firing with this weapon is pretty much your best bet when it comes to control and hitting your target, most player have this technique down to muscle memory so they can be very consistent with hitting their target with accuracy.

Full auto at close range and tap fire at about 30m+
and just practice, lots of practice and once you've got this down you should be able to do really well up against most players :)

If you really get into tap firing i suggest taking on the Obeya CR762
This weapon is a 5 shots to kill and is VERY accurate with hunting sights 3, if you add improved rifling 3 to the mix you've created a beast of a weapon.

HEY, Let me explain somethings,
To win games you need 2 simple things
1- Skill (very important)
2-Armas Weapons (just reskins btw, totally not p2w, totally not increased fire rate and range, and slightly damage)

And never say its P2W ,because the community will make sure to insult your family to prove that its not

Thanks for the reply man. I was pretty sure they were functionally identical but you always see the threads about how the ntec is the best and all other guns are trash lol. Also when i fisrt started playing apb i was a really big fan of the obeya. But once i got a few more hours in i found that once the enemy team knows your running it they just blitz you with smg and true ogre. So at least i can kinda fight back with the Sword. That and i find i have a hard time not using the armas weapons. Not cause i think they are better but because i payed for that joker box so i am going to use the weapon i got out of it dammit lol.

hard to tell, but from what you say you might be having trouble getting the tapfire rhythm correct, i suggest you also try HB1 as it's one of the key components to the best ntec mod setups.

whatever you do though, stick mobility sling on it, that mod is 100% must have for anyone who wants to do well with ntec.

typically i roll ntec with HB1, MS and whichever mag pull modification you're bad ass enough to handle and still get kills.
