NEED HELP TO FIX THIS

Im new to apb . Haven't played even once and when everything was done game shows an error of script files running and "apb launcher settings failed to be written to the registry" and all. Please suggest me something. I was so excited to play this game and now the errors have drained it all. Also I tried the repair option in game but it isnt working

Yeah I had the same problem so I removed the game but you can play the game if you open it by launching the APB.exe file in the game directory.

Yeah I had the same problem so I removed the game but you can play the game if you open it by launching the APB.exe file in the game directory.

Did for me but if so, just install it from GamersFirst and make sure to run as administrator which it should already. https://www.gamersfirst.com/apb/

download it straight from the website instead then along with the one from steam it will say the same message, but give it a good 25 to 30 min. and it should form in a separate window saying "Updating" and wait until the updates are finished and then click "play" where as it will run using the steam version and it will have a couple bugs here and there (and by that i mean freezing or the app froze, but thats probably because its loading all the patches+the the updates+ the game itself) but it should work fine afterwards, at least it did for me dunno

ALSO IMPORTANT REMINDER: (YOU MUST HAVE A REGISTERED ACC STRAIGHT FROM THE WEBSITE IN ORDER FOR IT TO RUN PROPERLY, IF NOT THEN REGISTER FIRST BEFORE DOWNLOADING STRAIGHT FROM THE WEBSITE)
