Space Engineers 2

Space Engineers 2

Trains, railway tracks
Will we finally see train tracks in Space Engineers 2? Support for rail freight transport? No mods! and the content in the basic version

U can already kinda do dat in SE1 stock with no DLCs or Mods. :3
With SE2 i think players can refine it even mar. >:3

the fact they are using the havoc physics engine makes me believe trains will be possible. even if someone has to mod it in

Yeah, additional question:
- transportation belts | robotic hand | bites | etc ???)))

I would love trains and a space elevator. A mix of practical and ridiculous is always appreciated.
use cannons to shoot resources to your base, both practical and ridiculous
Thinking about it you will have the ability to build a rail line more easier than in SE1 with the smaller block. And train cars will be a whole lot more easier to make with a large grid base for the cars with smaller blocks building the upper half for whatever is needed. One question I do wonder is the trustworthiness of the engine when having so many grids connected with Klang showing up and causing my train to fly to the moon.

Use pistons, gravity generator, and sum other blocks when SE2 gets em 2 make an actual shell, barrel, and sum ingenuity 2 construct an orbital cannon. >:3

I would rate its trust worthiness of 70~80% the other 30~20% comes from understanding of how weird codes can get during executing the codes needed 2 make physics possible U will always find Klang/Clang sumwhere sum how in almost any game with physics in it. >:3
I'd genuinely just be happy for propper rail track blocks that connect. No billion sub grid connector/hinge junk lagging up the server. Just one static grid with large muti-block long track segments, like extra long connector junctions. I'd not even care if there was no juncions or crossroads. Even a single loop systems with station points would be enough for me.

Hi, just to let you know one of the participant already created the Vote Feedback on the Official SE2 Support Portal so I recommend to add a good reason why it's needed with your Vote to help the members asking.

The existing vote Feedback (Petition) :

Linear Tracks/Rails

All can participate by adding suggestions from the link in green Pin, it is one suggestion per Feedback for the vote system to work properly :

Note
I think it may be OK to add if limited length so we don't exaggerate, well saying so because rails don't follow the planet Gravity in SE1 when the grid too long.

good idea. I would like vanilla elevator/lift tracks for cargo lifts and hangar lifts and such. Perhaps they can add sloped ones as well
