Lack of new weapons to SE 2
I notice that we have Gatling guns but will there be new weapons for SE 2 naval guns an some new tank barrels for rover builds in the future. Seeing water will be cool an all but seem warfare was very lacking in SE 1 Would be interesting to have a Naval yard in SE 2 with longer range than SE one turrets. An would like to add the fellowing ideas. We need better Warfare mechanics in SE 2 not some half bake pie turret like we got in SE 1 needs to have newer functions other words needs to have better sound from it vanilla version from SE 1 or actual CWIS noise would be sweat, Turrets should run from smallest to biggest to add a new complement of new builds to the game even for custom turrets as.

An this is my personal one been saving a auto cannon point defense turret last one.

those weapons were really good.
Robert Space Industries RSI never used the weapons before so don't know if they are good.

Hey, thanks for sharing your ideas! I love the creativity behind the suggestions. Adding new weapons, such as naval guns and tank barrels, could really diversify the gameplay and bring fresh options for rover builds and combat. I completely agree that enhancing the warfare mechanics would be a great way to improve the experience—especially with better sound effects and more advanced turret functionality. A Naval yard and the ability to design custom turrets would definitely make the game even more immersive!

There is a game called From the Depths....
The game overall is kinda a mess, one of those little gems with a dev team of one.
Is a block-based building game, but everything is built up with blocks, ship hulls, engines,and all the weapons.

The weapon building in that game is amazing! You can use the weapon set of blocks to build fast firing turrets (Like the current SE1 gattling turret type 2) to massive deckguns akin to the great WWII era battleships. Missile tubes ranging from fast short range rockets, to massive 20 block tall missiles that can hit past visual range.

I once built a ship with such massive deck guns I could only fire them broadside, with jet engines along counter side of ship to handle the recoil. Was a catameran hull as well....
I, too, hope they would take a cue from FtD and have allow us to actually design systems like weapons (though other things would be nice too). It is called Space 'ENGINEERS' after all. Designing and building systems FtD style would be amazing, and aside from the weird ammo you could make they could almost take all the weapon types from it as is.
