I hoping in my deepest heart, that V1.1-V1.5 would be just 6-8months from now...
cuz for me, they just sound like just "FILLER WORDS"

The first real beef: V2 slice would could be just a sneak peek on December, accompanied by the 2nd DLC!!! XD

C'mon, December is a lot of S__t happens its, its impossible KSH won't shove a new DLC+ News...

And a small chance by March-April 2026 they might*** implement it, accompanied by the 3rd - 4th Skinned block*** DLC!!! :steamhappy: :steamhappy: :steamhappy:

still all of these are my hypothesis... judging how they put out News and DLC...
I'm gonna bagged them all, regardless... :steamhappy:
they said theres no time frame, so its anyones guess when we will see it

There was also here and there some comments from the developer that it is at least for 2-3 years in early access.
personally I would have preferred that they had set up a kick starter and then would have been able to bring on a few short term people to help roll out a more fleshed out alpha just short of a beta release then to have done it the way they have.
it just screams star citizen vibes.. I have lost almost all interest in star citizen I would hate to lose interest in SE. I mean i have over a 1000 hrs play time so yeah I am alil disappointed and yeah I get it, its alpha but still If it were me I wouldn't have done an early release with so little of the game mechanics on place.

Hi, Marek told the community, in livestrem, to give them 3 years to make it available on Xbox and said that it is better to publish a complete game on console, that gives us a very good hint about how much time they need to add all the important in.

imo :
They need at least 2 years to add the most important ready for testing and 1 more year to enhance by fixing all reported Bugs + complete the Xbox version.

Conclusion, in my opinion :
-> One year for the first VS1 to VS3 and another year for new vertical slice on better core mechanics, new features, Multiplayer, NPCs, Story Campaign, and more...

I get what you are saying, however, as a PC player I still would have preferred to of had a more almost finished Alpha than what was delivered. I mean for those that enjoy just slapping things together in creative hey they are living the dream. I am a little bit more demanding I guess.

I understand your point and I can tell your are not the only one.

+
Keep in mind what Marek said in the livestream,
-> he prefer to share the first version right away since he knows it is their next game so all SE Lovers can try the new block system now, talked about some getting old and may not be with us in a few years, also to let all participate in the making,

Me = I like it a lot when I don't have to watch video Tutos and take my time to learn and become "Pro" on a few features at a time like what they did in SE1 Alpha.

Pretty sure there won't be DLC while in early access. Pretty sure that is against Steam's EA policies.

You are funny, at first you wish SE2 have used Kickstarter and then you came up with Star Citizen which used Kickstarter.

It obvious that you was not on SE1 from the start. So why do you need now from the start on SE2? If you know it is too less and you would lost interest, don't buy it yet and simply wait.

I myself have no problem with that release, I know it from SE1. I also like to be a part of the community early, see how the game develop, making feedback etc. If you have no interest in that all, you should wait with buying, always.

There are other early access games I'm interested in, but because they have a different focus and a "first experience" is there something way more special, I wait. Enshrouded is for example such a game I don't want to play before it is out of early access, because without the full content I would ruin my first experience with it. A second playthrough, where I already know a lot of the game and the game world, wouldn't have the same feel.

But this point didn't really exist on Space Engineers, so I have no problem here. But it exist a bit on Star Citizen, why I rarely play it myself (also on board since day 1) or I would run into the same issue as you and would lose my interest for the game.

So it is always good to know yourself and how you react on early access depending on the type of game so you can act right for you and didn't destroy games for your self. Many are not able to learn it and fall for every hype, again and again.

P.S. that answer went into a more general one, not all was directly pointed at you. Want to make that clear because I often answer that way and it can taken wrong. XD

“The Space Engineers 2 Pioneer Edition DLC is an extension package to the Space Engineers 2 game. It is a special package for early explorers, featuring a breathtaking soundtrack, exclusive content, and the chance to directly support the game’s development.”

First Sentence.

I don't know if you're just making it up, they already shove our faces with a DLC...
:steamhappy:

We all know that KSH, is not a charity organization existing to provide FREE game and DLCs to our less fortunate gamers who don't have money!!! :steamhappy: :steamhappy: :steamhappy:

I do really understand why they sell DLCs, and i'm okay with. its just not time for me buy it. But i'm happy to buy ALL DLCs in SE1 as a show of support on KSH.
Balmung Feb 8 @ 2:36pm
By the way, other EA games have also such DLCs with for example the OST of the game. So DLCs without game content but stuff outside the game. So you can give them more money without any advantage in the game itself. And right now the SE2 OST still runs here in a loop near the whole day at home. :D

Did it poked you?
If you played the game, you already agreed to SE2's Eula...

With that Eula, they can make it 10 years :steamhappy:
We're all at the mercy of KHS... We don't need dates... All we need is to trust them,
even by long shot...

SE2 was a long shot, when I was play SE1.... :selike:

Fair point. But trust is a thing that can easily break. I've had this happen to enough developers in the past and they've stepped on it. Mostly with things where the developers thought it was more important to increase their target audience than to make the game better.

These guys created an entirely custom engine, and a fully featured game, in less time, with a fraction of the money, and a smaller fraction of the staff...

Id not worry, they will have SE2 finished and be working on SE3 before CIG even drops S42. I dont think there is any comparison at all here, KEEN are the absolute polar opposite of CIG imo

A small indie company who make games VS a huge company that sells dreams and has failed to make a single game in 15 years :)
