for example, the minimum GPU required is a 1660.
one of the mods is using a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1050ti to run the game. if you have a card less powerful than that well dude you actually just need a upgrade..........

Hopefully Keen, once past the Demo stage will actually add for more graphic options so people can lower the requirements.
As long as you don't have a 10+ year old CPU, you can also play on servers so the host takes most of the work off from the clients.
Share your PC specs so all reading can have basic information to start helping.

Keep in mind the SE2 Team said the game will not run with Graphic driver older than 2024.
I still use my old GTX Strix 1050 Ti but the last driver update is 2024 and I think no more new Drivers will be available for it so stops in 2024 and I will have to buy a better Graphic card soon.
To compare with your PC, here is what I use :
Steam and game installed on the C: Drive (because I have only one 1T SSD)

I play on Default Medium Graphic settings 70 FOV
- Motherboard ASUS Prime B660M-A D4
- 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400 2.50 GHz 6 cores
- 16 GB RAM (2X8)
- 1T SSD
- Windows 11
- GTX Strix 1050 Ti Driver Date: 2024 08 14

100k PCU ship still no lag / 40 FPS; all "good" :D
maybe set cpu prio to high that got rid of stuttering once my ship got more than 50k parts
