At the moment though im not gonna mess around with relearning the controls and its pretty wild how it wasnt included at launch but things like the voxel hands were.
It seems like such a non-brainer to me. Like...half the planet uses inverted mouse controls for first person games. Every game made since 2002 has had an invert mouse option, if it wasn't default already. How do they even get this far in development without having an invert option? Is every single play tester they use forced by fiat to use spreadsheet mouse controls? It always baffles me when a game that uses mouselook functions makes it all the way to the end user without inverted controls as an option and I've only ever seen it twice before.

use raw accel https://rawaccel.com/
Almost same, during the little I played they I didn't like them as much as the SE1 controls but they're not game-breakingly bad. At least with the new keys you just hit the wrong ones and stare like a moron before being kinda annoyed at the clunkiness of the new instead of nausea from the camera moving the opposite way you told it to.

I will copy/paste the info here in case some don't know where they share their progress :
Latest News :
" The SE2 team is finishing VS 1.1 (Workshop). It will go into the final testing round next weeks and could be released soon after. It will bring Steam Workshop integration and an in-game browser, along with many other improvements - including mouse sensitivity and mouse inversion settings - because you asked us to add it. "
