I would accept Remake only if it would look EXACTLY like OG CGI of Chrono Cross, straight from 90's. Modern videogame graphics with realism, grainy detail... it won't be the same.

IMHO Trials of Mana looks very cheap :D
Trails of Mana is the probably the best actual remake SQEX ever did. So not sure what you're getting at here.
That said, I'm happy for a CC remaster if it's not buggy. I have CT on my PS3, but declined to buy the Steam version because of the massive report of bugs in the game. If you're going to port a game to PC from PS, you should at least run it through some testing before release - see Cyberpunk 2077.
I want the old PS games on Steam because I'm disabled and I want all my games on one platform (I can't sit on my bed and play my PS's anymore). But that doesn't mean I'm going to accept buggy crap, much less remakes that ruin the game even worse than bugs.
He laughed and said people should buy the games if they want more, referring to the DS port. I have the distinct impression the Chrono series sells far worse than it would seem, due to the fan base being very vocal. It's sad, but who knows maybe this port will soar.
