Radical Dreamers saves
I completed the main story for radical dreamers last night, but I have no idea how to access the other endings or check to see that my completion data exists. I was never prompted to save during my playthrough and there was no option to save in the pause menu.

You can save while playing Radical Dreamers. I own it on Switch, so I don't know exactly what button to press for playing it on PC, but at any time, if I press X then I get a save menu.

I'm in a similar situation as you with the endings though. I beat it once, getting the first ending, and when I played it again, I couldn't figure out how to make any decisions that really changed anything. The second time I kept making choices to make Kidd angry, just to see if anything would happen, but nothing really changed. I didn't play through all the way to the end that time though, so I don't know if I did actually change anything, but since the story was going exactly the same way, I don't think I was doing it right.

I would like to play this game and get the other endings without a guide, but I'm not even sure if that's possible.

You can't get alternative endings in Radical Dreamers until AFTER you get the default ending. Once the credits roll and you're back to the main menu, you hit the 'Continue' button (where New Game used to be) and keep going. When you save, your saves should show a Kangaroo head on them displaying how many endings you've gotten.

ONE VERY IMPORTANT NOE: Radical Dreamers only writes its saves to the hard drive when you quit the game *properly*. Meaning you must press the ESC button and quit that way. If you ALT+F4 the game, it will delete all the progress you made that session and restore the game back to the way it was when you started. Pressing ESC and quitting manually will write all the saves and keep your progress.

I screwed myself out of about 6 hours of progress that way, as I learned the hard way that ALT+F4 does deletes everything you've done, despite me saving dozens of times during that session.
