The Forget-Me-Not-Pot is an accessory you can grab after you go to rescue Riddel. It makes it so whoever lands the killing blow on an enemy can unlock that Dopplegang for Sprigg. Basically equip it to Serge and just have him murder everything!
The earliest point you can get a Forget-Me-Not-Pot is after the 2nd raid of Viper Manor (after the first visit to Fort Dragonia) when you go to rescue Riddel. Clear Viper Manor, go to Hermit's Hideaway and talk/recruit the Viper Manor crew. Once that's all done go back to Viper Manor in the room with the pillars/elevator and enter the right side door (near the entrance) that was blocked earlier in the game. Move the 4 statues into the places in the floor, then open the chest (from behind) and read the note in it.
After all that, add Karsh+Fargo to your party and go to Isle of the Damned. Make your way to where you fought Garai and Solt and Peppor will be there. Beat them up and Karsh will get his lvl7 Tech.
The Forget-Me-Not-Pot is actually the item you can steal from Peppor during this fight, so if you want it early you need to bring Fargo along with Karsh to nab it.
EDIT: While you're in that area btw (in the room before you enter the grave where you fought Garai) there is a suit of armor at the very bottom. After you get the Forget-Me-Not-Pot from Peppor equip it to Serge, drag the floating lantern in front of the statue and it will attack you. This enemy is called the 'Wight Knight' (and there is only ONE of them in the entire game) kill it with Serge to unlock it as a Dopplegang and enjoy watching Sprigg hard carry your team until new game+ where you can get the 3 secret Dopplegangs!

Full list is here. ones tagged (M) are missible, NG+ Are enemies fought with the Forget-Me-Pot before Sprigg is unlocked in NG+ Or are enemies fought in the Bend of Time. Ones in bold she starts off with so don't worry about them.
Ah yeah I did forget the 'base form Sprigg' part. I'll also add then it doesn't need to be melee attacks apparently, killing them with an element works too.
