Not sure if the forum is dead but can anyone tell me how to find and build the lift? I have mined all the way down to what seems like a second layer with an old base and had to bring resources to open a lock. I found a lift floating in the air and have seen references online to building the lift but dont know how. It takes forever to get all the way down and struggling to make progress before a new wave starts....

Story/Cut Scenes do not play at all for me. Got all the way to end game on day 78, never seen one, not even the intro. I've watched some Youtube vids so I KNOW this game has them. What gives? Poked at the achievements and it's talking about getting the "Good Ending" and I'm like "lol What's an ending?" So any idea why cut scenes would not play?...
