After days I finally did it.

After many days of trying, many days of dying and trying to figure this game out, I beat it.

Aka Manto is a pretty good horror experience, albeit frustrating and sometimes angering, but with persistence it can be beaten. It has good atmosphere, a terrifying villain, and a nice graphical style reminiscent of PSX era games.

Now, it's a good game in my opinion but it definitely has some things I didn't like; one life and permadeath, and Aka Manto always knowing the general area you're hiding in. His AI feels a bit unpredictabile and a tad unfair at times, even. Combine it with the permadeath, it can be an annoying experience having to restart when you're almost close to the end.

Overall, I think it's a good game and would recommend to those who want a good retro style horror experience.
