Wham Bam not triggering

I have two magazines, one empty and one not. I put the empty in and pull the slide which locks it back, then eject it, put it away, take a new mag, slot it in and simultaneously pull back the slide, chambering a round. Under a second, no achievement. Does the empty mag have to have been preceded by a bullet being fired? If so why is that not on the achievement, "after firing the last bullet of a magazine-" and then you put the rest of what's already on the achievement.

Yeah, the achievements are a little lackluster in their descriptions sometimes. Have you tried the latter?

This game is a well rounded product but is basically abandoned by the developers, unfortunately, so this is unlikely to get answered or fixed lol
