Proposal?

I may be going crazy and have imagined it but I thought there was something mentioned about being able to pop the big question/Cove propose to you in the step 3 DLC?

You can propose! You'll need to:
-Be at Love in Step 3
-Be in a relationship with Cove
-Have confessed your love rather than kept it private
-Played the Reflection Moment and asked Cove his thoughts on married, then say you hope to get married when he asks what you think
-Go to the summer ended scene
-Then on the hill at dawn the option to propose will come up near the very end of the game

Cove isn't bold enough to propose himself in Step 3, however. But Step 4 is still coming~

I think I saw in their post that they might release it (if all goes well) mid 2021

Oh dang, I f I had known a step 4 was coming I would have kept my level at Crush in step 3. I've been doing a slow burn romance and it bothered me how there was three steps but four relationship levels >.< I thought one had to be skipped.

I skipped crush because after the first three steps I was more then ready to finally get some romance. I made up for it by being the most awkward thing. Also the 'meh->besties->wait when did you become my soulmate?" dynamic seemed fun.

Please tell us anything you can about Step 4! I've already decided I'll play though this one again with a crush. It'll be fun to flirt with Baxter....Poor Cove.

Fun fact, you can play step 2 with crush without telling Cove, and properly setting it up won't cause him to ask about it, and same thing with doing love in step 3

Thank you onee-chan! One of the things I am learning is how the game is that it is more clever than I think. The set up you decried sounds hilarious and sweet, just what I like from this game :)

Um I did all of the steps as mentioned and did not get a proposal option anywhere..? Really wondering what I missed to get there..

Yeah I struggled for a while but I got it working by:

At the beginning of step 3 saying that we had been dating a while and the only thing he didn't know is that we loved him

Doing the Charity moment and confessing before doing the reflections moment a slightly different prompt comes up

I wonder if it's possible to have cove reject the proposal. My MC & him didn't get into a relationship until the end of step 3, also admitted to loving each other, and the option was there. Didn't pick it cause my MC isn't at all forward but i wonder what would happen if i did.

i dunno
the requirements are very specific, so i don't think he would, even if you chose to lead you two into a fight in the Chats event after setting it up

guess we won't really know everything about it until the Epilogue is officially released

Thank you, I think I redid step 3 at least 3 times, i was starting to feel like I wasnt good enough to propose! (even tho i really pampered the sweetheart)
