Cove's general demeanor is fully governed by the randomized (or personally picked) choices at the beginning of each chapter. His actions are chosen with your choices in mind (ie: he buys you a present based on things you've liked in past choices, he talks about you to others based on your past choices, and he protects you from things you've acted afraid of in past choices).
And yes, I love that feature. It’s so sweet how attentive he is to the mc. <3
Yes, his warmness or coldness relies only on that randomized moment. ((Edit to Add: Plus what level of interest you choose toward him[Indifferent, Fond Crush, and Love will be matched by your love interest]))
Absolutely love a game where the characters pay attention to the MC and aren't just "cookie cutter" personalities. GB spoils us
Also, thank you for answering, I’m looking forward to trying all the different combinations!
Time for another playthrough to test my newfound player POWAH MUAHAHAHA
Thank you so much for your answer, I had a hunch there were some factors that effect the warm-cold meter and I'm really excited to know that's the case. I think it's really well implemented and thought out, I can't wait to explore the different routes and dialogue! :)
