Report a translation problem
It's not about dancing in Step 2, since that was so long ago. Baxter doesn't use that as a reason think you wanna dance now, as young adults. When you meet Baxter at the start of Step 3 and he brings up dancing, you have to express interest in it.
UPD: retried giving the initial answer and having Baxter have high initiative - no dancing. So you gotta pick "take you up on that offer" to get dancing. Weird that "I could show you some moves" doesn't lead to dancing, it expresses MC's interest in dancing with Baxter as well.
