Cove Creator not working properly?

I want to change both appearance and personality but when I click on both, only the appearance menu shows up. Am I missing something?

Did you choose the option "BOTH"? His fashion and personality are what you can choose. And you can change his personality after finishing his appearance changed.

I'm pretty sure if you pick 'both' it starts you with appearance and once you click 'done' it will take you to personality.

Yep, that's what I did, but it skipped right over the personality menu and started the next part of the game.

I'm afraid I don't know why that happened. Generally clicking "both" has always worked for players. There could've been some unusual circumstances that caused a bug and we can try to figure it out, but for now I can only recommend that you keep choosing "both" on the screen in later Steps/future playthroughs and it will hopefully work next time!
