Restore progress from another device

So I switched laptops recently and logged into steam, downloaded stuff etc. I have all my achievements but I can't go back to my last save. Is there a way for me to fix this or get my saves back?

Well no, this game doesn't have steam cloud, so unless you saved the save files your self, the answer is sadly that there is no way to get your saves back, unless of course you transfer them to your new laptop from the old.
