Is the DLC worth buying?

Hi!

I just am wondering if anyone here has bought the DLC and what their opinion is regarding the extra content? Does it change the outcome of Cove's personality or the relationship? What exactly does the DLC add story-wise?

Hey! The DLC (or at least the one I bought) didn't really change that much however if you buy a DLC sometimes other characters (or Cove) will mention an event that happened in the dlc moment. Personally, I think their worth the cost (their not that major but are really fun to play!)

Every expansion DLC basically doubles the content of the chapter. So yeah, those are definitely worth it! The voiced names DLC is just flavor, but it's a nice touch :)

I haven't bought the buyable dlc but from what I hear, they're totally worth it (I'm planning on buying the dlc when i get some money).

Yeah the DLCs are very much worth it. Not only are they dirt cheap, but they literally double the game. I've made my first run through without it, took me about 24 hours total (before anyone comments, I like to take my time to read and soak in the scenes). Second run was with all three steps DLCs and took me twice as long.

A lot of the new events are extremely fun and help a lot to learn more about the other characters, as well as flesh out your own one. Plus, they can have some impact on the base game's events.
For example : during step 2's DLC event "Soirée", you can end up dancing with a random partner. If this happens, you get a little bit more dialogue during Step 3's intro sequence which (imo) can change your perspective on another character a little bit.

All of the new events are extremely fun, well written, and help bring out even more life out of GB Patch's world.

Also you get to see Miranda as a kid.
And that's priceless cuz she's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ adorable.

I think everything has been said at this point, but yes, I also think every DLC is really worth it, at least so far. Including the Patreon exclusive moment.
The upcoming DLCs are a bit of a different matter, as it depends on your plans for the game. Two of the DLCs will add "secondary" romances - basically, allow you to romance two normally non-romanceable characters. And another DLC well... will or will not be relevant depending on your choices in the game and your plans for your MC's future.
But, yeah, the DLCs already out are worth it.

Personally, I'm unsure if I'll purchase both of the character DLCs (who am I kidding, of course I'll do, but I'll probably romance only one of them).

This main version is free and gave me so much warm, positive feelings and great art for visual novel. DLC's aren't cost too much and give me more scenes (the best were ones about Cove's parents), so i think it's really worth it.
