Our Life: Now & Forever - What improvements do you want to see? What information is there?

What information is there on Our Life: Now & Forever? Any information on the features? The love interest? The improvements? I'm hoping for better things a better MC for one. I don't mind them being so self insert and changable but I would like it if you had more options on where to go with them and being able to go more in depth, give them their own character arc too. The end of Step 3 was pretty nice because of this but it was really the only time the MC had any agency or issue of their own and it was pretty quick too.

A better character creation would be nice too, and more CG cut in's featuring the protagonist...though that seems very hard. Still, as the character creator is right not, it's not the greatest? It feels limiting, specially since the Doll doesn't really reflect how anyone looks in the game, so imaging the doll interacting with everyone else seems kinda...strange. It's hard to make different looking guys as well, most of them end up looking like girls.

I'm very interested to see what sort of Love Interest we get now. He could be quite different from Cove! I liked Cove quite a bit and his growth was pretty good but I'm very interested to see how this new LI will be different from him. Both in looks and personality/how they are written.

What's everyone else's thoughts? What do you want improved or changed? What information is there on the game? I admit to knowing nothing about Our Life: Now & Forever apart from the name.

No real information has been given thus far, except that the love interests of Now and Forever will be girls, in contrast with the boys of Beginnings and Always.
Other than that, I'm as clueless as you are.

I want CGs of the MC reflecting the player's choices and obviously expanding them with more hair colors etc.

Looking at the fact that in Beginning and Always MC have older sister I wonder if that mean in the second game will get younger sibling?

I gave the game a solid play-through, though never did get the "voiced" dlc names to ever work (made me sad!) but... something that kind of disappointed me throughout was that the MC's face never changes. Is the MC is doomed to stay a chibi forever while everyone else around them grows and evolves? It was always jarring to see that the MC looks like a child throughout the entire game... I didn't like that at all. It made me feel left out, weirdly enough.

- I would love to see the MC change during step 2 then again during step 3, etc. I know we can make different selections but... it's like changing which "forever a child" look I want to have.
- If the characters all get old and wrinkly, then my character should be able to join the wrinkly-ness too!

Did you check all spellings of your name?

For instance, I named my 1st play through of the game Zoey. Wanted to name her Zoe, which is the spelling of my name, but went with Zoey b/c it was in the voiced name pack and with either spelling it sounds the same basically.

My understanding is the voiced names are limited to the names submitted by a certain tier and higher in the game's initial Kickstarter campaign.

(Good reason to watch for future KS campaigns from these fine developers.)

I picked from the voiced names list, not a spelled name.

*EDIT: I deleted my old saves and reinstalled it and that seemed to fix the name not being voiced! So hope that helps anyone out there who's got the same mini-issue!

Actually, one of the Love Interests will be female, and the other will be male/neutral. As for changes, I would like to see more customizing options for the MC's doll, especially the male hairstyles. Also, I'd like there to be more defined "career path" options. Like, the hobbies and interests you have as a kid would help shape your future as an adult. In "B & A", it doesn't seem to have much impact on what job you choose in Step 3. Although, maybe more will be revealed with Step 4?
