How to change name?

I set my name as Lizzie but it's also the sister's name so I was wondering if there's a way to change my name without having to restart because the whole thing is getting pretty confusing lol

Nope, you can't change your name once you've selected one. It's one of the few things that you're not able to change between steps

Restarting isn't that awful though. The skip feature works pretty well.

You have to wait until the next step to change your name, so it's either restart the game or play until step 2, when you can personalize your MC again

Yeah, you can change the first name eventually, but only after the childhood section is over. The last name is only the part of the name that can never be changed once set. Though, the sister stops going by "Lizzie" once Step 1 has ended (she goes by Elizabeth and then Liz instead), so you might not need to change it after the childhood section. It's up to you.

Oops, I was wrong, I didn't remember that you could change your first name and thought that all the name could not be changed once set.

My real name is Lizzi and it is so frustratingly distracting that the name of the sister can't be changed. I always get a second of confusion whenever she's mentioned.
Can't really turn off, that it feels like I myself am beeing addressed when her name pops up. It kinda makes it hard for me to feel fully immersed.
