Wedding DLC question

Absolutely love the game,but i do have a question,is wedding DLC planned to be released together with step 4 or will they be released on separate dates?

it's a separate dlc all focused on the planning and wedding with Cove. it'll come after the step 4 DLC.

Who knows though, this DLC won't release for many months, so maybe they will consider adding this as an option for players who do not romance and marry Cove.

Maybe it could be a platonic thing, but instead of a wedding, it could be Pamela and Noelani renewing their wedding vows and you're helping to plan? I think that would be really sweet.

Yeah, when we were envisioning that DLC we were imagining it to be more simple and small than the others. Just an optional DLC especially for those who decide to have their MC be engaged to Cove and marry him. People who are indifferent, fond, or crushing/love but not interested in marrying him sadly won't have anything to do in that DLC.

A platonic party is a very cute idea, unfortunately we didn't think of that at the time and made plans based around it being just a romance-based DLC, aha. With the two other LI routes, the Step 3 DLC, and the special Patreon bonus content, there's not a lot of room in the development schedule to expand the wedding DLC. I'm really sorry for that. If it is possible we'll try to do it, though.

The game spoilt me with all of its options, I know the chances are slim but – will the wedding DLC be in a fixed setting (typical “Christian” wedding in white etc.) or are there cultural options?

I would die for a Chinese wedding, haha.

You'll be able to choose the venue from multiple locations! We haven't decided on exactly how many, but it'll be at least four. Most will be things like on the beach or in a white poppy flower field to match the overall theme of the game. But we might try to have some more cultural-specific type of locations too.

I would want that step too. I would love to see them raise kids all the way to adulthood. XD

It would most definitely be completing the cycle, where it ends with them having kids too and being the parents at the same age as them in Step 1.. My heart. God even a few CGs of them afterwards would make my heart explode.

Regarding the possibility of different wedding options, I would love if handfasting was an option.

I would love the option of eloping but still having the reception party with your family/friends since my MC would find planning an actual wedding too anxiety inducing but still want to have their family/friends included somehow.
