Overwhelming Emotions Achievement

Hey there! I was wondering if anyone has tips on how to get the "Overwhelming Emotions" achievement where Cove confesses his romantic feelings first? I played through Step 3 at Love and was very sweet with him, but nothing happened. Any help is much appreciated!

I got it by playing step 3 at Love, not confessing when he sneaks into your room to show you the firefly, and then sneaking into *his* room and asking him to sleep together at the end of summer. It might also work if you text him to come over to your room.

I got it also by playing step 3 at love, I DID confess when he sneaks into the room with the firefly(although MC used the word like, and I believe the point of this achievement is that he is the first one to use the word love. It might only work if you choose specific options at the beginning of summer in step 3, like when it prompts you to choose whether you have admitted you love him yet) and then also sneaked into his room and asked him to sleep together at the end of summer. Although I can confirm that it also works even if you ask him to come to your room instead, since I tried that after.

You're probably right, because my first time through I picked that I knew I was in love with him, and confessed after the charity dinner and MC used the word love, and I didn't get Overwhelming Emotions even though we slept together at the end of summer.

Thank you to both of you for the help! I ended up getting the achievement by making sure I hadn't told him at the beginning of summer, confessing during the firefly scene using the word like, and sharing the bed with him after sneaking into his room.

To be specific, the option you need to choose at the start of step 3 is

'He was an important friend, but you secretly hoped he'd tell you he felt more than that' if you haven't confessed already, or

'And you were in love with him, but that was the one thing you hadn't admitted yet.' if you have.

and then spend the night at the end.

I got the achievement by not confessing anything to him at any step, kissing him in the firefly scene instead of saying anything, then having him stay and share the bed (which was incredibly endearing and funny to me at the same time).

I got him to confess at the restaurant by starting Step 3 at the Love level. Also, same as above, during the phone call saying that I secretly hoped he'd tell me he felt more.
