How am I able to achieve this? I thought I got close with my path, lots of casual flirting, and I wanted to double back after a save so that I could get the confessions in step 3.
I entered step 2 with crush, did it need to be love?

This game is just so wholesome, honestly a breath of fresh air. It's so nice to have LGBTQ content that isn't tragic or overtly sexual.

I love how natural the progression of love is in this game, it feels so genuine and honestly I'm dreading doing the friend route, aha. The dev's really managed to capture that friends to lovers without it being tropey, and that's how I met my boyfriend of 8 years-- we met in highschool as just friends, and well. Now we're a lot more! It made me a bit jealous that I didn't meet him sooner, hah! The whole game is just heart warming and it's something I didn't know I needed, but glad that I have.

Although, I will say that Baxter makes me slightly uncomfortable with how forward he is-- maybe its too much of a juxtapose to Cove and Derek?

That's sweet, I never got to have that young love. Now I'm waiting on the step 4 DLC so I don't feel quite so much like a cradle robber. xD

you tease us! It'll be worth the wait, though.... or I might become a patreon because my boyfriend also played the demo and he adored it. I screen-shared some moments for him to see but I cannot wait to see his reaction as i'm able to draw parallels from the beginning of our relationship and it just. Hits my feels, man. It's so damn heart warming.

I just finished my first playthrough (I'm the boyfriend) and I also didn't manage to get the confession on my first try but I'm going to play through again and follow some of the hints here to see if I can get it to proc. I loved this game, though! It's so aggressively wholesome it's great! And I also saw a lot of parallels which made me smile, I know there's a bunch of stuff I still need to see, the variety in what can happen is staggering.
