i know i didnt buy the game again, i got my promised free copy before he took his unsecure mess of a website where people's accounts were getting hacked into and keys stolen.

remember kids, if you got your key, it wasnt free, you had to buy the alpha to get it.

I wasn't around to buy it in 2013, having bought it on steam. A lot of people bought the alpha back in 2013, but missed the time window to get their steam key.
It's two versions of the same game- exactly what the "betas" Steam feature is for.

alpha, and yeah you just have to rename a file so you can skip the login and run the game. i forget which one but someone mentioned somewhere how to skip the login and how easy it is.

think about it, he was selling something anyone with the file could simply enjoy.

I don't think a lot of people actually bought it twice, tbf. I know at least two alpha owners who couldn't bother to get the Steam key, never bought the game, and even forgot it exists.
