I bought this long time ago

I had this game when it had to be downloaded through the company website. Now I can't seem to find the page to login to get the game for my new computer. I don't want to have to buy the same game a second time.

Does anyone know where I can download the game again? Or do I just have to copy the launcher from my old computer?

Although I don't think that the old launcher updates, because the game still says alpha :D

The old launcher won't work with the steam version of cube world and is out of date. The website to redeem your steam key isn't available anymore unfortunately.

However, you could try contacting the developer via mail ([e-mail]) and send them your receipt from your alpha-purchase.

Oh. Is there any reason why? I just bothered my friend to play some CW with me but he hasn't claimed his Steam key from owning alpha yet, I don't think. Or maybe he did and I just don't remember it. But just to be sure, alpha owners can still redeem their Steam key via support for sure or is that an attempt rather than a sure thing?

We don't hear anything from the developer anymore, so I can just guess what happened. There were no updates or any official news from him since october/november 2019.

But he still seems to be kind of active. It's not a sure thing, but as far as I know everybody who contacted the support got their key (also just recently, you can find a few examples in other threads here). Also, he recently just made a change on his former website picroma.com. The domain is now forwarding directly to cubeworld.com.

Go to picroma.com go into your account and you should be able to find a steam key for the game, u bought in in pre alpha and when it got released in steam I found my key on my account on the website.

There is no login for the account at the moment. But they replied from the support mail and I got a key from there. Super pleased for this!
