Ending of Season 2 Random Thoughts
I loved this season better than than S1 for many reasons but this is a gonna be a biased take just fyi. I started pursuing Jill and Bella in my main play through of season 1, so I felt a little underwhelmed with where the story went for those two seeing as season 1 focused on other girls more. But I feel as time went on Pinkcake has gotten better with writing and it shows in season 2. I was Absolutely fulfilled in this season due to my choice of girls. At first Jill was number 1 but Bella has taken that spot. I liked the ending of this season as it hits the same chords that the end of season 1 did.

Now that I have gone through and played for the two girls I actually cared about (Jill and Bella), I'm actually excited to play another route where I'm pursuing Quinn. As much as I dislike her, I've known a two girls like that irl and they were fascinating people once you get down to the core of who they are. I'm interested to see how Quinn's story plays out if there is one for her.

I liked the fact that after my second replay of s2 (with my ♥♥♥ + minigame save), where I pursued Sage, i had so many "other" options i didn't have in first playthrough (chick + Maya/josy, Jill, Isa and Sage too).

I feel like the "girls" you can get in s3 will expand.

Another thing i liked is by replaying s2 once i understood that maybe Nora will become a teacher in our school, and Cathy will be back in the game in one form or another.

I also had a blast in the DI K run to discover that many strippers are more than that.

Personally from my 1st playthrough of S2, the real shocker was Sage. I pretty much didn't care for Sage at all during S1. Maybe a little more during alternate playthroughs, but she was probably my least favourite main heroine.

But S2 significantly expanded the content with her. I gained a metric ton of respect for her over S2. And after I decided to pick Jill, I had to break the news to Sage and, dear god. She took it so bloody well I decided I had to make an entire playthrough just for her. Because Sage was absolutely amazing in S2.

Me too buddy. I feel totally what you feel. (i personaly had already the hint that Sage would be more than what meets the eye in S1 only but S2 totally expected any expectation I had. Just the simple "got ill" part of the game was hyper realistic for me because it... never happens in other VNs.)

In s2, i feel all girls have a good spot light except maybe Maya "per herself" but since Josy is there and there are a 3persons couple, i didn't feel that too much an issue; besides Maya plot feels like the big main plot from the first episode.

I chose Jill as love interest in my Chick playthrough and that decision was hearbreaking.

Currently i'm watching the end credits for the second time after a D I K playthrough where i choose Sage, and it feels like i finished playing a triple A game... so much respect due to DrPinkCake and the other persons working on this.

Only Pink works on being a ♥♥♥. He has a proofreader and 2 beta testers that help him out for release, but the work is all him.

I had a similar experience, except it was a choice between Bella and Sage. Fortunately I saved at the decision point. I played through Bella first and then went back to play Sage. Sage was a revelation, and her story was doubly shocking if you pursued Jade. S3's story is going to be explosive when that poop hits the fan.

That'll pretty much be at the start of Episode 9, it's gonna be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I wonder if/how Steven having the video of you and Jade will influence the talks at all.

Good question. It may be different if you picked Cathy over Jade. I've gotta say that breaking things off with Jade after choosing a girl towards the end of Chapter 8 was pretty harsh. I don't think she's a fully playable route which is too bad, because she's pretty hot. That would shake things up quite a bit at B&R as well.

To be honest the only real differences i've seen so far about MGs and SGs is screen time and moving the plot forward, i'm pretty sure even side girls will get endings.

It's hard to tell. When MC has the conversation with Elena in Ch. 8 Jade was not an option. There was still the option to not commit yet, so maybe that leaves things open to continue on with SGs later on, options with new girls after Season 2, a harem ending, or even bad endings like Dr. PC's other title, Acting Lessons. I don't think this title will get quite that dark though. So far it's been mostly light-hearted.
Only the Main Girls are selectable options. All the Side Grils fall under "Other". This isn't a harem game. The MC can fool around with multiple girls up to ep8. If you pursuing a main, you have to choose one and end relationships with other girls (including side girls). If you still want to fool around with multiple girls, you are going to be limited to Others.

I mostly agree, but I don't think we'll know for sure what the ramifications of choosing "Others" are until next season. It's pretty late in Ch. 8, so we don't have a good idea yet what branches it opens up or how it will affect next season's story if we delay making a choice.

There is/are still a lot of story/semesters to go. IIRC Dr. PC posted that he wants to make this a long running title, and we're barely out of Hell Week. MC is planning a Halloween party, so we're still in the 1st semester of MC's freshman year. Even if the story only covers year 1 I think there will be at least 2-3 more seasons. Continuing Sage's story past that would be difficult since she's a Senior. There's more leeway with the other choices. Only time will tell.

I am very familiar with DPC's posts and episodic releases. There is posted info on the planned story length. Unlike other AVNs, DPC has the framework completed already and is flushing out the details.

The game is about 7-8 weeks from school start, just past mid-terms and given where DPC is in the framework, a longer college experience would have to involve some sort of time skips. We have seen small scale skips in the last couple of episodes. Like you said we have to wait and see.

Also, as we see with Cathy, gone from B&R doesn't necessarily mean gone from the story. Undergraduate degrees can be followed up with graduate ones or some other profession at or near campus.

It'll be a glorious ride!

Every other girl thats not an MG falls under "others" so yeah you can still choose them.
